Sahanaa Threads is more than a clothing brand. It is the story of a woman who found her purpose in what she loved most — and decided to share it with every woman who has ever felt the same way.
How it began
Selvi Prakash was a homemaker — a mother, a sister, a wife, a daughter. She wore many roles with grace, the way she wore her clothes: with quiet confidence and a personal touch that people always noticed. Friends and family would say it often — "Selvi, your dressing sense is something else." Her eye for ethnic wear, her love for collecting pieces that were unique yet simple, was something everyone around her could see, even when she hadn't fully seen it in herself yet.
One day, she decided to listen. To herself. To her joy. Sahanaa Threads was born not from a business plan, but from a deep, honest desire — to build something of her own, to step into a world she had always loved, and to invite other women into it too.
Because she knew what it felt like to be all things to all people, and still want one thing that was entirely yours.
